Hello everyone,

It feels like a while since I've posted a proper update here, and quite a few things have been bubbling away behind the scenes! As an independent author, one of the greatest joys (and challenges!) is the freedom to evolve, experiment, and constantly strive to bring you the best possible stories. With that in mind, I have some important news regarding my published work and what's coming next.

Refocusing My Published Work

As many of you know, my journey as a writer has been continuous, filled with learning and refining my craft. Over time, my vision and style have naturally developed. Looking back at some of my earlier works and shorter projects, I've realised they no longer fully represent the author I am today or the direction I'm heading in.

Therefore, I've made the decision to redact some of these earlier titles. This means they will be removed from my website and Amazon store. This wasn't an easy choice, but it's one I feel is necessary to ensure that everything I offer you truly reflects my best and most current work.

New Publishing Formats Ahead

You might also notice some changes in how my books are presented. Due to recent adjustments with my publishing platform, it's no longer viable to offer my shorter works in paperback.

Moving forward, my shorter stories and novellas will be available exclusively as ebooks. My longer, full-length novels, however, will continue to be available in both ebook and paperback formats, giving you the choice that suits you best.

Exploring New Horizons (and a Break from Novels!)

You may be wondering what I'm currently writing! Well, for the time being, I'm taking a slight detour from novel writing. I've been spending a considerable amount of time behind the scenes, delving into the world of podcasting and/or YouTube. I'm doing a lot of research into these new mediums, exploring how I might branch out and connect with you all in different ways. It's an exciting learning curve, and I'll certainly keep you posted on any developments!

"Dakota's Diary" Relaunches!

Just because I'm not working on a novel doesn't mean the creative urge has gone anywhere! In fact, I'm thrilled to announce the relaunch of my beloved online series, “Dakota’s Diary”! These will be weekly short reads, designed to offer you a regular dose of my writing. You'll be able to catch them every week on my Facebook page and my WhatsApp channel. I can't wait for you to dive back into Dakota's world!

What's Next for Novels?

While "Dakota's Diary" will be my primary writing focus for the short term, I am constantly toying with ideas for my next full-length novel. I envision it being a gritty drama with real-world horror elements – no supernatural or paranormal themes this time, just raw, intense storytelling. It's still very much in the conceptual stage, but I'm excited about the possibilities. Definitely watch this space for more news on that front!
